Dr Mark Mellor

FRACGP, MRCGP, DCH, MBChB, BSc

Male GP

Dr Mellor is a UK-trained vocationally registered general practitioner. He completed his medical and surgical training at The University of Manchester and completed his BSc in Psychology & Neuroscience at The University of Liverpool.

He has trained across a wide variety of medical and surgical specialties in urban and rural hospitals in the UK. He is experienced in women's and men's health, general medicine and surgery, and paediatrics.

He has an interest in child health having completed the Diploma in Child Health (Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK) and further training in paediatric emergency medicine and tropical disease at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Malawi. Dr Mellor undertakes surgical procedures including contraceptive implants, skin excisions, toe nail surgery, and wound management.

Dr Jackson Pyne

MBChB (Med BSc), MRCGP, FRACGP

Male GP

Dr Pyne originates from Cumbria in the North of England and moved to Glasgow, Scotland for medical school in 1998. He completed a Neuroscience degree in 2002 and graduated as a doctor in 2004.

He stayed in Glasgow for numerous hospital posts including Oncology, Medicine for the elderly, Emergency Medicine, anaesthetics, General Surgery and Psychiatry.

He completed GP training in 2010, continuing to work in Scotland as a locum and salaried GP for the past 7 years.

He has a special interest in Chronic Headaches and Migraines, having worked in a specialist hospital clinic for the past 2 years in the UK. He also has an interest in Men's Health and Chronic Disease Management.

After 19 years in Scotland, he has moved to Perth with his wife looking for sunshine! He enjoys cinema, music and gigs, travel and Circuit training. He has recently bought a bike and is looking forward to exploring the cycle tracks of Perth. Come and say Hello!

Dr Ifunanya Ijeneme completed her GP training in 2013 and has worked as a GP partner in the UK for some time before moving to Perth with her family in 2020. Kate Appleton

Dietitian

Kate is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD), wife and mum to two very active primary school kids. Her passion for health and nutrition comes from her own personal journey of growing up in the world of ballet and dance, then through experiencing the many health challenges that come with pregnancy, post-partum health and having small children to feed!

Kate believes food is an integral part of maintaining good health and preventing disease and works with her clients to provide the education and tools they need to help make informed food choices. She believes that living a healthy life should not be hard or confusing, and it should not be restrictive or about the next best diet. Kate strives to translate nutrition science, support and guide you to better health, and show you how to achieve your goals.

Kate’s areas of interest include, but are not limited to: weight management, cardiovascular health, insulin resistance & type 2 diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome, FODMAPS, women’s health, and general food and nutrition-related queries/advice.

During your initial consultation, Kate will conduct a thorough dietary and lifestyle assessment to assess your individual health and nutritional needs, taking into account any medical conditions and food preferences. Advice and recommendations that consider your lifestyle are provided to assist you in achieving goals.

Kate is covered by all major private health funds and rebates are available for clients referred by their GP on Chronic Disease Management (CDM) and Department of Veterans Affairs programs.
